I learned so much from this book! It covers a staggering range of information on superfoods and goes into areas that were eye-opening to me, such as the importance of acid and alkaline states in the body. The recipes alone would be worth the price of the book; they all sound delicious and most are fairly simple to prepare. Detailed charts provide suggestions for natural health aids for specific conditions. Some of the surprising things I learned included how to fillet a fish, what's the best thing to drink upon arising in the morning, and the perfect way to remove an avocado seed. Not to mention the amazing news (to me) that sauerkraut is actually a nutritious food! I have to give kudos to the authors for the obviously vast amount of research and experience that went into the production of this almost encyclopedic compendium. If you want to know more, especially about the little-known gems of "supernutrition," this is a great resource.
